Help: Iphone 3g Cosmetic Repairs

Hi guys, just want to know if there is a local service center here? coz from what i heard, apple distributors doesnt repair iphones.

anyway, my story is i got my iphone 3g's chrome part scratched due to putting it in my pocket together with a set of keys which in turn scratched it.

i would want to have the chrome part replaced sana but, dont know if this is possible and if there is a certified apple iphone 3g service center which also wouldnt void my warranty.

if you plan to sell your iphone, its better to formally do it via a new thread in the marketplace.

the only authorized "service center" locally for the iPhone 3G is globe. and having said that, i don't think globe repairs them, i reckon it simply replaces the iPhone or its parts, when applicable. if anyone other than globe tinkers with your iPhone, you technically lose the warranty. good luck getting a good price for it.

i think it would be better if you'll buy a case (iskin revo2 or any other) that will cover the scratched part of your iphone. To think about it, eventually your iphone will get scratched anyway. If you don't want that idea, try g-masking your phone, put designs or whatever so that people will get distracted with the design, and not notice the scratch Anyway, it depends with you.

In my opinion, don't sell it. As long as it's working, it's fine.

try sir jann aka DeCode, he might be able to replace that bezel.. im not sure if he has the part though..

Jann aka DeCode can replace yours! It costs 300 when I asked him for the price. I also visited his shop in GH and he's got lots of chrome bezels. Believe me!
