What has happened since then?
That refurb iPhone has served me really well. It was identical to a brand new iPhone, other than the box it's indistinguishable. It used a SuperSim for a while, went to 1.01, 1.02, 1.1.1 and 1.1.2.
I no longer have it... because this week I got a brand new 16GB iPhone!
My wife now has my old iPhone, now on 1.1.3 unlocked through ZiPhone. It has survived 5 falls, almost getting lost at least three times, has played hours of video, taken hundreds of photos, loaded with six months worth of podcasts, used often every day and has travelled with me all over the country. Great device and it never failed me. I never regretted getting a refurb and I'd do it again in a heartbeat.
