have u installed 2.0 in your iphone?

hey, anyone here used the 2.0 software on your jailbroken phone? does this software relock the iphone if i installed it on mine? any info on 2.0 is jailbroken phones?

Haven't done it. Pleased with firmware 1.1.4 =p I don't see the need yet of upgrding to a 2.0 iPhone

My friend just drools over this, it's like a serious INSTALLER, with approx 70% of apps free for users (AppleInsider), and those we need to, we pay with confidence. I really like this. I hope after ng 2.0, in just one week, we can unlock it again. I just hope. As of now, I'm still satisfied.

when globe starts releasing iphone...it would be safe to say that these phones can be updated through itunes without having the need to unlock/hack it should there be later updates to come right?

then would it a also be safe to guess that when the official globe/philippine iphone gets here, we can update the 1st gen iphone via itunes and not have the need to unlock it? if the 1st gen iphone will be used with a globe sim that is.

It is safe for 3G iPhone, but not the 1st gen one, even if you have globe plan.

unless we get word from the ziphone guys that iphone 2.0 software is unlockable & jailbreakable, its risky to upgrade at this time. my fear is that if we upgrade to 2.0- the software will 'brick' our iphones- thus requiring us to go to globe to have it activated and force us to sign a new postpaid contract/line.

guys kinda need your help! i'm trying to restore my 16GB iphone but to no avail , no success, already tried different ways, i resorted to to manually picking the firmware to restore my iphone to, I need to download the 1.1.4 firmware but the link in the forum is already broken. dou know any link I can dowload this firmware ?

With the new 3G iPhone, I don't see the need to unlock it but there is a need to jailbreak the phone for Installer. As much as I would probably enjoy the Apple app store, the installer community is so big and to disregard all the applications in the community would be difficult. I just hope that more developers switch to the app store.
