Default Getting Rid of "Call Forwarding Active" Message

    Hi guys,

Forgive me if I didn't find the fix for this but I didn't find any with 'call forwarding' as search keyword - except for this thread which talks about the iPhone's Call Forwarding function itself.

Anybody knows how to get rid of this pop-up message "Call Forwarding Active" on every outgoing calls? I have Call Forwarding set to OFF in the settings.

I've seen a number to dial but it disables the voicemail (I'd like to keep that) and I've seen plist changes. I found a lot of plist changes that they suggest and I'm quite confused which one is right. I don't want to tinker a lot of things and probably mess up my phone when this message is just an annoyance but not really critical.

have you tried disabling the call forwarding on the sim in other phone? maybe its sim/network dependent.

yep. I did. I was in Manila last week but I hadn't tried to see if it is different for my SMART SIM. I'm using a Malaysia SIM Digi. I'm assuming not any of you guys get this annoying pop-up when making calls. Or do you?

Sir bacchus_3, check out this thread over at ModMyiFone. It recommends that you add http://install.ifon.no/ as an Installer source and thereafter install "Viderekobling", which is said to disable the "Call Forwarding Active" message for affected iPhones with 1.1.1 to 1.1.3 firmware.

    Hope this helps. :-)

@deepblue, the description from installer says its only compatible for 1.1.1-1.1.2. But if somebody adventurous enough who tried can tell if it can work on 1.0.2
