gain more control over your shuffle

Hope it’s ok to post this here for it kinda veers away from the rules Apple has set for how the Shuffle’s meant to be used: specifically, loading up music files to it from separate computers.

Anyway, here’s a link to a tip I found when I was searching the net for a way to load podcasts downloaded from the office without overwriting podcasts downloaded from home onto the Shuffle. Tried it & works like a charm. Only caveat is that the Shuffle doesn’t appear in iTunes anymore so uploading & deleting stuff needs to be manually done by dragging & dropping while in Finder.
