    Default Free AudioBook sites?

Does anyone know where free audiobooks can be downloaded?

Here's what I found so far -- all of them free and freely distributable:

The Bible in World English Version

Can anyone else share their discoveries?

Get a membership in Audible.com, even if you don't really purchase anything.

If you're a member, you're often entitled to free downloads. While it's not exactly an audiobook, I just downloaded tonight the 2004 First Presidential Debate with Bush and Kerry, a 90-min audio file.

Got my Art of War free version there and quite okay to hear, considering it is free.

Here's a site where there's an eclectic mix of Christian and secular books. I'm in the process of downloading Tolstoy's Anna Karenina.

@ bernie, di ba teleserye dati yun sa Ch2?

How about audible skits? Are there downloadable audible skits like those from stand-up comics from BET (like Cedric the Entertainer, Mike Bonner, etc).

Would really love to have them as an alternate to the ones I already have - Pork Chop Joke collections (ang baduy 'no?) - something to play for our salesmen on long mountain trips. Jokes like these can keep a driver lively longer than music. Plus, it breaks the monotony of music from time to time.

audiobooksforfree.com is great! very easy downloading. kaso lang i've been downloading the free versions, several mp3 files per book. but in i tunes i just set them to go on continuously. ok naman.

so far i've downloaded: thus spoke zarathustra, heart of darkness, kama sutra, the communist manifesto, and the domestic failures of women.
