formal talk about the ipod

hi guys! im doing a paper on the ipod but ...
i cant seem to find "formal" information about the ipod...if you can direct me to links where i can find the following information, you could make me a very happy student...

1. a formal description of the ipod
2. who does it target? (age groups, income brackets, etc....)
3. and some suggestions you have on how the ipod can be improved

That will be a good start.
