Firmware 2.2 may have toggle for Auto-correction

I tried looking if somebody else picked this up already...

A tip from MacRumors about the new beta firmware 2.2 suggests an auto-correction toggle switch may be coming to the iPhone.

I guess it will make everybody happy - and goes to prove Apple is listening to customers

P.S. I also like the emoji icons. hehe. but I guess only iPhones will be able to display it - it's famous in Japan.

Personally I'd rather have first the forwarding of SmS and be able to send an MMS than to have this "minor" tweak. Auto-correct isn't really a nuisance to the iPhone user. It's there to make composing of SMS a little bit faster. Sanayan lang naman yan.

mms will soon be obsolete what with almost all phones coming out able to send emails... personally i'd rather send emails (faster and more reliable) than send mms through globe...

the autocorrect feature isnt exactly a "feature" if it does not have support for local language like here in r.p.

mmm i'd probably stick to auto-correction even if the toggle is there. my iPhone can now predict "Bahay"

for example, texting this to my gf, "Bahay na ako", is fast lolz
