Easiest way to upgrade to Version 1.1.1. ?

Hi guys i have been very up to date with unlocks and iphone hack till the moment i was able to hardware unlock my iphone. But now i'm clueless on how to upgrade and whats the best way to do so?

I have a iphone 4gb (geohot's hardware unlock method) Version 1.0.2 with FW 3.14.08_G

Any one care to show me a step by step process on how to upgrade to the latest version?
(love to have the itunes wifi store)

Also after upgrade will i be able to restore my old sms and emails?

For your case, there is actually no easy way to upgrade to the newest version. As you already have a modded baseband, you only have a limited set of options. You can, reflash your BB then apply the IPSF unlock, then upgrade to 1.1.1. If you don't wan't to spend for IPSF, then you might want the hybrid route. It still has issues though. Read through the other threads and you will gain a vast array of infos on what works, what won't and what's worth the trouble.
