date and time problem

hi, has anyone encountered a problem with setting the date and time in your iphone? Everytime I click on the date and time in the settings/general tab/date and time tab, the screen just blanks out and i'm returned to the springboard. Same thing happens when i try to click on the clock icon. Now i cant set the clock alarm. Hope somebody has a solution to this. Thanks

This has happened to me before.

If you have SMBPrefs installed, just turn off DIM wallpaper settings.

thanks but, i'm not using SMB. i'm using latest version of xlaunch and customize, could this have caused the problem? Although I've been usong both programs for 2 months now but its only last week that the problem started.
