Comparing serial #s to FW revision
Hi everyone,
I'm trying to compile a list of week 38 onwards serial #s and their corresponding FW version to determine if we can see a pattern as to which units have 1.0.2 and which have 1.1.1.
To determine the production week of your unit, please check the 4th and 5th digits of your serial #s.
For example.... 7T738R7???? (last 4 digits blanked out for security) is a week 38 produced unit.
Its confirmed that some week 38 units are 1.0.2 so we dont need to worry about week 37 and earlier
As far as I've found, there have been no week 39 units reported that are 1.0.2 (all have been 1.1.1). If you do have a week 39 unit that has 1.0.2, let us know as well then we can safely say all of the units with 38 from that factory (the first 3 digits are the factory code) are safe.
Please post the first 7 digits of your serial # and the firmware code out-of-the-box of your iPhone.
Hopefully with this info we can figure out which ones are safe to buy

Re: Comparing serial #s to FW revision
Found this on hackintosh...
Don't worry, I have a 7R739 and it is still on version 1.0.2
So we can safely assume that all 7R738s are ok. YAY!
Lets hope more week 39 results surface.

From what I'm hearing, thats what they're working on vs an actual unlock for 1.1.1

Re: Comparing serial #s to FW revision
all iPhones in my pending shipment are 7R733. there is a big possibility they are all 1.0.2 firmware.
