Comic Books on your iPhone

It just dawned on me the other day that my trusty iPhone would make a great comic book reader because of its ease of navigation and sharp screen. I have tried doing it with other devices in the past but it was very cumbersome and tedious.
I initially decided to just import the comic book jpeg images through iTunes but it goes through an optimization process which blurs the text so until the Apple development team addresses the issue, it wasn't viable.

So I did some research and I found this program called jComix created by Penjuinlabs. It essentially adds a plugin into Safari that allows you to view comic books in CBR format. You can install jComix through the installer and then SSH the comic books into your iPhone. I have been using it for some time now and it's fantastic!

i already have so much manga on iphone and used comic viewer to view it. can read zip files... i download such as suzuka, pastel, no bra, vampire knight, deathnote, gacha gacha, hana kimi, hana yori dango, mars, i"s, school rumble, and much more... hahaha. sometimes i stay up to 4 am... hehehe want some of it??? i can teach u and give u my collections \

We've downloaded the jcomix.zip file and unzipped it. The unzipped folder has 4 folders inside: system, usr, var, opt --

Correct me if im wrong but do we need to have our iPhones JB to have this installed? I mean, you mentioned about, "we can install the jComix thru Installer and SSH the comic books", i believe the iPhone will have this apps if it is JB? and isnt it that JB is a taboo in this forums?
