cheap accessories

hi guys..

just wondering if u think its healthy to use those cheap accessories for the ipod sold in stores like cdr king.. like the usb chargers, cheap versions of the itrip and stuff..

i heard somewhere that it can mess up the system of the ipods, sometimes crashing it..is this true?

is it ok to use the cheap brands or are the more expensive/branded ones better? or are they all the same with the difference found only in their brand names?

some cdr king products are ok because of the price,
for me I always think this way when buying from them, it is generic, no matter what's the brand. it should be price at half of the real thing, if it doesn't work out then I will just throw it in trash can, I have 2-3 out of 10 products bought from them working and still using it,

BUT I never trust cheap power related products, its better safe than sorry, bec it might not only kill your gadget, might also cause fire .......

many hates their products including me as it cost me more, but some are happy that they got a BRANDED product at extremely unreasonable price, hehe....

just be careful in choosing, no harm done to try but test first before using it on your pricey toys

I got a Belkin wall adapter for just 900 pesos... Not bad as compred to the Apple charger for 1+.

please dont buy cheap USB ipod adapter, my ipod 80gb video cant hold its charge after i used the el cheapo one. Good thing its still covered by warranty, after it was replaced d pako nadala I used it again then Boom service center again after a week hehehe.

My ipod was replaced 3 times already, twice because of the battery cant hold its charge and once due to constant restart.

edit: BTW i throw na the el cheapo adaptor, bought it at megamall for 150 or 250..
