Celebrities and their iPods

I was initially at a loss whether to put this in the OT Forum or here in iMusic, but since most iPod stuff is here, I guess this is as good a place as any.

I was just in Club Noah in Palawan for a sports event for celebs and the press, and I was struck by the fact that most of the celebs had iPod Minis and regular iPods - I'd say about 60% of them did, particularly the young ones like the Eigenmann cousins, Joey Marquez's kids, and some of the older ones. One or two even brought iBooks with them. Veteran photographer Alex von Hagen just bought himself an iMac G5 two days before and is bursting with questions.

My big question is, why aren't they PhilMuggers yet? I did my part about evangelizing about our group, and I guess it'll be a matter of time.

If you know of any iPod-toting celebs and luminaries around, get them to join up, or tell us who they are so that if any of us know them, we can try and work our magic to get them to join. Nothing like unwitting endorsers to make the Mac tribe increase. Use this thread to post your info.

Um. Yeah nga. Hard to concentrate. Too many distractions. Before I took the pic it wasn't in her hand - it was beside the cellphone. So that's where it went!

actually, i think most celebrities right now have ipods or macs. especially the teeny-bopper celebs. i've had the chance to work with boy 2 quizon quite a number of times and he has a 12" PB and an ipod. camille pratts also has a 12"PB, and an isight. not quite sure if she has an ipod. but most probably she does. she has an enormous mp3 collection. might as well get an ipod to go with it. i've seen heart evangelista play around with her 12" PB. hmmm...it seems that the 12" Powerbook is the laptop of choice for most celebrities.
