Can I use the iPhone ringtones as SMS tones?

Is there an application I can download that enables me to use the iPhone's ringtones as an SMS alert as well?

am sorry i cant give you source right now coz if i open my installer, it will auto refresh then there goes 10php.. lol. il check later when il be browsing mails..

I've read jamendo ringtones with message tone makes its
possible for jailbroken iphone to add and change message
tones. I'm in the process of looking for that app using
installer but no luck so far. I've been able to add ringtones
using iToner, which I got from katz warez (opppssss...he he)
but no message tone option.

Last night was a near nightmare for me. While screwing around
with FONTSWAP (app that can change fonts for iphone),
something went HORRIBLY wrong. I'm in the province and
the technician that jailbroke my iphone is in Manila!

In short, my iPhone started to display the notorious
SWOD (the swirling wheel of death, the iphone equivalent
of the dreaded BSOD or blue screen of death for
windows) even AFTER I tried to reset using the home
and power button. The thing simply refused to start.
So, with only minimal knowledge and some furious
websurfing, I took the plunge and did a restore using
iTunes and Liberty. The desperate manuever, coupled
with visions of a bricked iphone, paid off
the first time around.

The moral is don't screw around with the iPhone unless
you know exactly what you are doing. And if you do,
DO backup your phone address book (I use both
google and yahoo backup).

I m charging this to experience and I guess I am lucky
THIS time.

Wow. so sorry to hear that. Thank you so much for the warning. I actually changed my mind, I was too scared to screw around with the tones so I decided to leave it alone. thanks again!

pero you can do something to change your sms tone to the tone you want.

or you could do the safest route if you are not confident with
the diy route : just go to Greenhills and pay
50 pesos for a new message tone.

The technician I've used is located at the mezzanine level, corner
stall, food court, cinema mall. The name is iPhone developer
something......its adjacent to the original apple accessories
shop on the same level. The owner has a macbook pro.

P.S. just make sure to delete all those NASTY pics and videos you
have naughtily installed on your iPhone.

no problem. My iPHone is nearly restored (there's still 1 or 2 apps
that I've not been able to install). Performance is nominal.
Its a good thing I still keep my nokia e61i around as backup.

ok heres the source. i've personally tried their vwallpaper (video wallpaper) and it works (with some minor bugs that can be managed).

add this to your sources then you could find the app you're looking for at the multimedia section on your installer along with vwallpaper and r wallpaper

vwallpaper-use videos as your wallpaper
rwalpapaer-display random pictures as your wallpaper

note:install skrewcommon first.
