Read this news.... the media is making this an iPod issue when it is not - just because something is so hot selling then they like to find fault on it. The problem is deeper than that - teenage morality, crime prevention, etc....

That's really good of Steve Jobs.
If you had a choice between getting cut , getting 20 stitches or worse I think I would definitely just throw the wallet down or give up the iPod. Not worth the stitches.

I must say what Steve Jobs did was really thoughtful. I know it wont bring back the teenager lost in this incident but it is comforting to the parents.
