Bluetooth headsets for the ipod
hey guys
not sure if there's a thread about this already but anyway...
am considering to buy a bluetooth headset for my ipod --- hassle kasi yung wires especially when im running or using the machines in the gym...
am a bit clueless when it comes to bluetooth gadgets so i'm not sure what brand would be best... looking through the net, i found recommendations for the brand etymotic but it retails at around $230+ which is way too expensive for me...
have any of you guys tried bluetooth headsets with your ipods? pls suggest brands i should consider?
thanks!

Philips has a bluetooth headphone designed for home TV, you can plug it in the audio jack, but it's as big as the iPod Classic.
it's worth P7,000.00 I think

meron pero nothing that's officially apple branded... except for the one for the iphone...
did a bit of research sa net and there are brands that sell bluetooth headsets together with a receiver that you can plug into your mp3 player. there are some that would respond to mobile phones on bluetooth as well... tipong, if you're using for the gym and then you get a call, the headset will alert you off the call na rin...
im wary lang about other considerations like sound quality and kung re-chargeable, etc..
i might get the logitech ones since reviews seem on amazon and cnet.au are ok

I found it in SM Appliance, in SM Manila. Bluetooth headset for iPod is one product that I just can't understand why is it still very hard to find (if not, none at all). I think this kind of product will be a sure sell, since there are so many iPod users already.

Re: Bluetooth headsets for the ipod
All ipods in the market lack bluetooth capability (except the iphone), so definitely, bluetooth headsets will not work with the ipod. However, if you are using an iphone, bluetooth headsets should work just fine.

Re: Bluetooth headsets for the ipod
I don't find a bluetooth headset all that attractive because it will be an additional burden to the iPod's battery.
iMac 20" 2.4GHz * Macbook Pro 13" 2.53 GHz * iPad 32GB * iPhone 4 16GB * iPhone 3GS 8GB * iPhone 3G 16GB * iBook 12" G3 800 (Mr. White) * Tangerine iBook G3 300 (Mr. Orange) * Airport Extreme Base Station (802.11n) * iPod Nano (Product Red) 4GB * Wireless Mighty Mouse

unless the reciever is meniscule and inconspicous it wont be attractive to me
