depressing. since i have tons and tons of music that i'd like to purchase here, pero wala! wALA SA PILIPINAS!?!??!

but is it possible though to get gift certificates and actually make them work here? la lang just wondering. and also dropping a hint to those who might wanna share their gcs...

Yes, you can use GCs to buy from ITMS. I've seen some on eBay. You'd have to input a US address though. A friend's or relative's addy would do.

Actually, a similar concept is already in the drawing board as early as late last year. The parties involved have already discussed the matter with Optical Media Board Chairman Edu Manzano and he seems cool with the idea. Last I heard, the next plan is to discuss this further with the local record companies. I'm not at liberty to disclose any more than that so I guess the only other thing to say is stay tuned. I for one, am hoping it materializes.

the_diva, don't fret. GC's can work. Get a very good friend's address and put it as yours when you redeem the GC. Then purchase to your heart's content.
