    Default Any commercial jingles, TV tunes, or other unusual tracks in your playlists?

    I have, among others, 80's TV cartoon themes and video game soundtracks

    I feel obliged to reply to this thread because I carry a couple of hundred megabytes of advertising music on my iPod, but it's really because that's what my company does!

    As for TV themes ... my all time favorite compilation albums are the Television's Greatest Hits series, especially each and every one of the 65 tracks on Vol. 7.

    If you ever come across it in a record store or mall and you were born in the 1970s, BUY THIS ALBUM. It's the next best thing to time travel.

    I've got a lot of video game soundtracks myself ^^ My favorites are the ones from Chrono Chross and Chrono Trigger (which, are also my favorite games), and the Bust-A-Move soundtrack.

    People also seem to think that it's unusual that I have a copy of Chou-Denshi Bioman (Bioman's theme song) ^^;

    My collection is mostly composed of Japanese songs, game and anime soundtracks. In some circles it's unusual, but in some circles it's not. I know Jiru-chan is another one who has mostly Japanese titles in her iPod ^_^

    One that I personally find unusual is System of a Down singing a Legend of Zelda song Although I'm not sure how unusual that will actually be to other people ^_^;;

    Can anybody can remember the old games Grim Fandango and Indiana Jones: Fate of Atlantis?

    I have a clipping of both that someone spliced the dialogues together to sound naughty. Very naughty.

    I have medical lectures, Stephen Hawking's A Brief History of Time, Richard Feynman's Lecture on Einstein's Theories of Relativity, and tutorials on how to speak French and how to speak German.

    Oooh, minibosses rule!

    I have lots of videogame OST's (mostly my favorite games) like the complete FF7, FF8 and FF9 sountracks (Uematsu is a god), Parappa the Rapper, Gitarooman, Castlevania Symphony of the Night, Kingdom Hearts, and loads of old-skool 8-bit and 16-bit videogame music remixes.

    My favorite anime OST would have to be Naruto, but I also have and like the OST's of Genso Maden Saiyuki, Cowboy Bebop and Ghost in the Shell.

    I also have a lot of standup comedy in my ipod, mostly by George Carlin, Dave Chappelle, Jim Carrey, Jerry Seinfeld and Tenacious D skits.
