Adel you have a knack for finding these autopsy sites. I remember when you posted the disection of the shuffle a couple of months back. I can't help but feel so envious. If only the fool gave it to me instead. Then again whenever Apple comes out with a new device I'm always eager to see the autopsy.

Just look at how small that internal speaker is. I suppose it's even wired on contact. Brilliant!
The flash memory is removable, so it should be upgradeable.

That definately voided the warranty. Japs like to disassemble things to learn from it and build something better... my guess. I just “read” the photos too.

dissecting a newly released product has been a common practice among computer magazines here in japan for quite some time now. even the mac magazines come up with pictures of dissected 'books as soon as they're released to accompany their articles.
now it's becoming a sort of competition in the online community on who gets to post the first dissected pics of a new product, especially if it's as high-profile as the ipod.
