the high end phones we used to buy were priced at 40-50k. Anyway, I wish Philippines were included on the July 11 launch so that we don't have to ponder much on how we are going to get one from outside the country.

I didn't spend that much for any phone I had. The most expensive one I own is a Palm Treo 750 and I bought it for 21k.
