2nd hand iphone advice....

to all iphone users
im planning to buy a 2nd hand iphone (EDGE)
what should i check to make sure the everything is working properly?
pls give me some advice.
besides from the package included
all i can think of is if the touch screen is working properly
charging, if wifi is working, camera, ringtones...
hope u can spare me some ideas, thanks

That's about it. check the aesthetics, edge, sync it then make some calls, and you're ready to go!

Don't forget the speakers and headphone jack for your music. With the touchscreen, calling, wi-fi, camera and no dead pixels, you're good to go.

Though don't be surprised if the chrome bezel has scratches, unless the user was really protective of his/her iphone, the scratches are normal for 2nd hands.

Try to restore phone and pwnage again

im suggesting this because of what happened to my friends iphone.

He got it 2nd hand... when we restore...it got stuck to recovery and gets 1011 error in itunes..

we tried all possible solution to restore, unlock and jailbreak...same result.

That's something too, if you want your iPhone's softwares fresh, better get it pre-restored (pwned) from the previous owner since wouldn't want to have his/her contacts, pictures, etc would you?
