2g Ipod Touch wifi problems SOLVED!
for all ipod touch users out there who has been experiencing problems with touch's wifi!
GOOD NEWS!
FIRMWARE 2.2 fixed the wifi problem !
so just update your touch!
i already tested it!
and it connects instantly! YAHOO!
There have been only 3 legendary apples: One seduced Eve, one awakened Newton and STEVE JOBS created the other one

Ah, my wife's 2G iPhone sopped working when it was upgraded to 2.1. I hope 2.2 fixes it too! Thanks for the info!

after i update my FW the wifi worked like magic!
the moment i pressed wifi on
the wifi logo instantly appears! ^^
plus safari really feels a lot faster!

@bluefire: Plug in the iPod into you computer using the USB synch cable. After a few moments it should appear as a device in iTunes. Under the summary page, in "version" there's a button labelled "Check for Updates". Click on that and the update process should begin, assuming you're connected to the internet.
