does 1.1.4 have email, weather, google maps and editable calendar?

yes you can. Just hook your iphone to itunes and restore it to its latest update. once you have restored and updated it, download ziphone 2.5 and click the "do-it-all" and in a matter of minutes, its unlocked, activated.

thanks for your response but i was asking about the ipod. do i get the weather, email and google maps apps if i use ziphone?

there is a package available.. 1.1.3/4 iPod Full Feature says would install those..

i updated to 1.1.4 but now my iPod Touch does not appear on my iTunes (on Win XP). i uninstalled/reinstalled my iTunes but my iPod Touch still does not appear on iTunes.
i also tried to connect the iPod touch to my MB and it's also not recognized
help please . . .

put it on disk recovery mode then restore it

hold the top (power) and home buttons BUT release the top button 10 seconds into it (right after the screen goes dark) and continue to hold the home button until iTunes detects your iTouch in recovery mode.
Restore your iTouch by pressing and holding the ‘Shift’ key on windows or ‘option’ key on Mac, then click ‘restore’ to select the 1.1.4 firmware file you downloaded earlier. The restore should go through...
be sure you have already downloaded the firmware 1.1.4 HTH
