Default WhAt should I do when a Mac turns useless!

    Hello everybody!

I am referring to my Imac DV blueberry when suddenly turns off while im in the middle of using it, then realising that something is wrong with that day. Hoping my mac is not sick, bringing it to the supplier that may help but just found out that its logic board and crt is dead.

I own this lovable mac for 4 years and helps me a lot to live.

what do you think can i do after this. Any idea except of doing it as a trash?

    can't you have it repaired?

can't they replace the logic board and crt?
sayang naman... probably cost a pretty penny.. but i think it's worth it to have it repaired...

baka nga video card lang ang problema. as Maverick said...sayang naman!

as katorse mentioned, bring it to ynzal to be checked.

Logic board and CRT dead? That's the entire computer! If that is the case, I would go for this solution:

You can still salvage usable parts like the RAM, L2 cache and video cards amd PRAM battery (I bet they still work) and use it in your other Mac/s (if you have) or reserve it for use in a future Mac. You can also sell those parts.

that's the famous macquarium, of which there have now been several generations. if you want to build one (you'll need an old desktop--actually, a compact or all-in-one--mac, of course), check out the links in this page:
