is there a way to remove a partition without reformatting the whole HD?

Just had the imac fixed at the apple centre, and they partitioned the HD into two. the second partititon has noting inside. Is it safe to delete it? Should i use the second partition?

What is the best app to delete such a partition without harming the whole system?

do not delete the partition...use it for backup na lang...removing the partition is risky...or if you really want to remove it, better backup your data...
