    thanks guys for all the recommendations...I guess I'll have to save up more for an emac/ibook na lang if using existing equipment would dither away workflow, I was supposed to buy a mini to keep up with my design class kasi. we're using macs for our laboratory and a good number of classmates do their work on ibooks/mac-based systems and I feel sorta left out with a windows pc. Although I can do my work on a pc-based system, I feel more productive with working with a mac...it's all a matter of money for me nga lang. thanks for the info, this really would help me out in deciding sooner or later

    I think the mini is still a wise investment. Just make sure that you purchase a good LCD monitor that has DVI. Don't try to skimp when it comes to monitors since it's the peripheral you'll use the most. They can also be used for several generations of CPU upgrades.
    The greatest harm can come from the best intentions.
