i wonder if longbeard can take orders of these items too. might be cheaper to get them from HK although the warranty could be a problem because these are desktops.

FYI, ThinkSecret was "right-on-the-money" for these models in a prediction last April 14: http://www.thinksecret.com/news/0504macs.html.
So their predicted dual-core G5s are just around the corner....

It's a good arrrggghhhh for me. By the time my finances are back on track, I can get one of these babies... or maybe the next model... depending on my recovery rate hehe.

ARGGGGH that is not good because:
    1. Just bought a Mac mini + LCD monitor which cost me around P50k total
    2. Want an iMac G5 but can't afford, so this makes the pain more unbearable
    3. DVD authoring is still painfully slow in my Pbook 1.5ghz with 8x SuperDrive.....
    4. to 100. Etc....

Hmmm... I was just wondering a few days ago if our 'old' eMac could handle the Tiger. I now think that this has something to do with the release of the new os.

Dual core PowerPC processors are either in the prototype stage or IBM couldnt commit enough chips to fill Apple's order. Take note that IBM has yet to make any announcements of the existance of the technology or is bared by a NDA.

According to some reports we should expect quad processor PowerMac G5s in the near future hopefully with dual core chips. Imagine 4 dual core PPC970MP processors running at 3GHz. I hope it tops off at $2999.
