the mac mini is essentially an ibook with the lcd blown off, so aside from the standard hd and ram upgrades (there are superdrive upgrades from OWC) there are so far no processor or video upgrades available at the moment. sometimes i like to think of the mini as the "disposable mac"

...what about an Apple Cinema Display, as a Mac mini upgrade?

Hmmm... since Apple reduced their prices just recently (and it seems very timely!), you may want to opt to get them also (since you've save a lot already w/ your Mac mini purchase anyways, right!). :devious:

The 20" model is already very tempting indeed, and is now challenging me to go out of my budget, really! :embarrased:

I believe it's getting harder to decide everytime Apple upgrade their offerings, much harder when they've even decided to drop their prices some more! :x:

    But who's complaining right?

Now, if I could just stop myself from not deciding which Mac (the eMac or Mac mini?) to buy already, and not to hold-out again (consistently!) for any reasons (whatsoever) not to upgrade at the moment... :embarrased:

And if only the peso, inflation and disposable income would cooperate w/ the US dollar...

...I could just buy them all, be contented, and be done with it... period! :shy:

I'm contemplating this as well since well the mac mini is a good start at a mac but I don't like the fact that it only has a 32 mb Vram...

If you go to macsales.com (that's the US of A) they've got a whole Quicktime section on upgrading the Mini
