Lost Installer CDs!

Hi,

Is it possible for me to buy/order installer CDs for my G4 Dual MDD? I can't seem to find mine although I did made back-up copies. The thing is I find it too inconvenient being asked "please insert CD with the corresponding illustration on it" everytime I use the back-up disk. I had to juggle with all the CDs I have just to find the correct one. Will Apple let me buy just the installer CDs? Thanks.

Suggestion: next time you use the Restore CD's, take note of which is which, and mark the CD's accordingly with permanent marker. That should solve the problem without having to repurchase the CD's from Apple. And don't forget to make a backup of your backup.

Thanks Gonz! I infact did just that but just for laughs and giggles, can I purchase the CDs?

I don't think so. I've never heard of that being possible. Your best bet would be to search eBay for someone selling the Installation CD's for your particular Mac. Or simply purchase a copy of OS X.
