iMac G5 Pictures and Review

Hi,

Here are some pictures and impressions on the new iMac G5 17inch superdrive I got.

This thing is heavy at 13 kilos but as I said, I was able to put the whole box in a hard suitcase. Here are some pictures of the box.

(Not sure how to attach pictures here so if this does not come out right, please tell me how to).

Continuing.....

As can be expected, when you open the box, the packaging and the iMac was great! The iMac was in all white. Initialization was a breeze. I did not even know that the airport was already working since I did not put anything on the set-up. Good thing there was network in Sim Lim as I was able to ask some of the guys here on what to do and how to test the iMac. The note from Arel to call Patrick of Senco was also great as that gave me the peace of mind concerning the warranty question. Here is a picture of the iMac in my room today:

As I was telling in the other thread, the 256MB RAM is not enough. I initially did not get additional RAM but when I was playing with it at the hotel, I can tell that the response was not so fast. Decided to get an additional 512MB RAM the next day (just before we left) and installed it myself here. Here is a picture of the iMac when I was installing the RAM:
