    Default Imac G4 upgradable?

Hey guys, need your advice, I'm using an Imac 1.25 768 MB SDRAM.

I'm very happy with my unit but recently I purchased The game World of Warcraft and this game caught my heart and i'm playing like crazy.

I just want to maximize my gaming experience so I put the video capabiltites to maximum and it sacrificed the game performace. The video was choppy.

Was wondering if my hardware can be upgraded? video upgrade or memory upgrade?

Maybe you shouldn't set video to the maximum. Maximum is not always synonymous with OPTIMUM. Hav you tried searching the web for optimum tweaks to your existing system?

I don't think video can be upgraded on an iMac. Memory can be upgraded, but I don't think that will help. You may want to try shutting off unnecessary background processes if they are running (e.g. Apache web services or Samba network services).

Unfortunately, your logic board is the fastest for that model.. even the old 800Mhz iMac G4s were incompatible with yours so you still have the fastest for that series.

Don't worry, I tried to max out all the video settings on Homeworld 2 and it was still choppy on the iMac G5. You have to find a balance that you can still enjoy the game.
