Default How many HDs in a Power Mac G4 Quicksilver

Thinking of putting another HD into my Power Mac g4 and wondering if anybody has had a similar experience.

I already have two HD (IDE) in the usual slots. I was wondering if I should:

    1. Put the third drive into the space for the SCSI drive (none installed)? But not sure how to wire the connection. I can see where to get a power cable but not the 40 pin connector

    2. Use the slot for the ZIP drive (none installed) below the optical drive?

What's the most anyone out there has put in a power mac and how do you do it?

    Thanks.

You can use a PCI SATA/IDE card for the third drive if you want to.

I considered that, but (being cheap!) I am looking for a low cost solution.

By the way I put the 3rd drive in the slot reserved for the zip drive. I checked out other forums and found a few people who had tried it. They say there might be issues with heat build up, but I nothing that a good old 'bentilador' can't handle I believe.

So far so good will post if I find any problems.
