G5 shortage?

My order for a dual 1.8 G5 went in on the last week of June. It hasn't arrived yet and my reputable dealer says last week of August most probably. Something to do with still waiting for the shipment. I was on the verge of cancelling and ordering from another reputable dealer, when they said they wouldn't have the same model ready right away anyway.

Is there a shortage or did my dealer just give priority to someone else? Thanks folks
