    Default Dot Pitch in Monitors?

Hi! I need help in choosing a monitor. I want to know if a 19 inch monitor will slow down the graphics in my G4 800Mhz with radeon 7500(32mb VRAM). And also, what is the "dot pitch" in monitors for? .20 mm, .21 mm, and .25 mm are what i usually see in comparison lists. Is higher better?

I guess the lower the dot pitch, the better.

The smaller the dot pitch (or dots per inch), the sharper the image. It can be measured differently depending on the monitor technology (shadow grill vs aperture grill vs LCD). You'll also notice the smaller the dot pitch of a monitor, the higher its price is.
