    Default Cable Modem problem...

    Hey everyone!

I just convinced my aunt to swith to an iMac 17".

The thing is, it refuses to recognize her cable modem which is connected by USB.

My iBook is able to recognize the cable modem without a hitch. Once I plug the USB in, it recognizes it as an Ethernet Port (en2).

The iMac doesn't do the same.

The USB slots aren't busted, I'm sure of that.

    Anyone with any advice?

    Thanks again!

    Gabe
