Accursed Red Dot!

Set up my iMac and been using it for a couple days when a teeny tiny red pixel dot appeared onscreen while playing DVD. Does this mean i'll have to take it back in and get it replaced? Grr!

Hrmm. So everytime i watch i DVD i see a birght red pimple on everyone that gets a close-up. That certainly merits a great big HARRUMMPH.

you mean the red dot appears only when playing a DVD? does this appear on all DVDs that you play on your mac?

Nope it's there all the time, just seems clearest when the screen is a plain color or am playing dvds (maybe a low res copy?). It's a funky pixel for sure.

oh.. i thought you meant in your post that it appears ONLY when watching DVDs.. if more stuck pixels like that appear then you might want to have it checked soon..
