Hello, when I went back to Manila last May, I found that there are tons of WiFi hotspots available. There's Airborne Express and GlobeQuest and GlobeWIZ, prepaid cards are available at most of the hotspots themselves. Check this thread for locations.
Make sure your PB has the Airport Extreme installed, it's $99 if you don't have it there yet....
To find out if you have the APE installed, click on the Apple menu at the left top part of the screen, then click on "About this Mac".
When the splash screen comes up, click on "More info", this will bring up the System Profiler, and you'll find an entry under hardware that says "Airport Card", click on that and see what shows up on the right side of the window.
Hope that helps.

If you're a Globe "post-paid" subscriber you might be able to get free WiFi access. Check out Globequest Wiz's website is their free access is still available.

The Globe WIZ service was only free until last August, I believe.
But you can get a username and password through your Globe (text WIZ<space>ON to 2333) that's valid for 24 hours, so you don't have to get up from your table and buy a prepaid card. The usage appears in your Handyphone bill. HTH.
