try LMK, Located at R. 308 DHI Bldg. #2 Lapu Lapu Ave. Cor. Edsa Magallens Village
Tel. No: 852-5223/2554/7306 Look for kajal.

Last time someone mentioned to me the price of the new ibook now with 1 year applecare is around 50k+++

pros and cons? well besides the shipping fee... you might get a lemon of a unit (Hope Not). Try your luck here first cuz its the same with LMK they'll order it but saves you the hassle of ordering it somewhere else. Good Luck

I was supposed to buy my powerbook in HongKong kasi the PB which retails here at around 190K sells in HongKong at 21,000HKD (approx. 150+) and you could still get some discounts if you could haggle (knowing hongkong you might still be able to ask for discounts and freebies). I initially set aside 190 so with extra 40K i that could pay for my vacation to hongkong .

But when i started asking around some friends in the industry told me that hongkong is notorious for tamperd units and lemon(?) units. Plus Macs which are bought here comes with a 3 year warranty, in HK its still an add-on. So if ever you get something in hongkong and the get a apple care...it would up your cost to 10,000 pesos pa. For PB ata its somewhere at 2K HKD...thats around 15 ata. Plus the hassle if ever you got a lemon box or a tampered unit... :drunk:

However if you get yours in the US baka its much better, pero yung shipping and stuff will eventually make you wait longer. (I'm still waiting for mine to be delivered by a local reseller but thats because i had stuff added to it pa) However if you have relatives who are coming home for the holidays...or friends going to the US for vacation, pabili mo nalang
