Powerbook as a portable charger.

I just realized recently that not everybody knows that the powerbook ports (usb and firewire) can charge peripherals connected to it even while powerbook is at sleep mode.

This has saved me again yesterday when my K700i died. In the car, I took out my powerbook while closed and in sleep mode, plugged it using the Brando retractable cable. It charged fully after approx 1 hour and 15min, coming from makati to my office in timog.

The ipods will charge as well using the Brando retractable firewire charger.

i use that too ! pda, ipod and cell phone ..tapos i have this adapter for the car lighter so u can plug in those USB cable. those USB cables plugs into an AC adapter as well. i have a separate pouce of cables, adapters and USB devices. sometimes i really think all this complicates life even more hehe.
