Newbie with Base Station... Some questions.
Just got a Apple Base Station - Snow
I have already configured it with my iBook and am already connected via Airport with the base station's modem dial-up.
Whenever I disconnect from the Internet Connect Menu (clicking the disconnect button). It disconnects but resets the modem. It says resetting the modem with a 60-sec countdown. Is this normal? Does it really need to reset the modem when disconnecting?
TIA.

The base station can also be accesed by a PC right? What does my Kids' PC need in order to connect to the Base Station? What type of card and how much do they cost? The PC is a Duron 850 running XP. Hehehe

One more thing about my Base Station. Usually it connects/dials by itself automatically, pretty annoying though. This was happening even when I was running 10.3.5.
But just a couple of minutes ago I went to the rooftop to check the signal and it was pretty good. Afterwards I tried dialling but it was busy, so I turned off the Airport Card from the Internet Connect window. Then I went back down to put the ibook back on the table, after 30 mins I tried to connect but upon opening the lid of the iBook and turning the Airport card back on, it was connected already for 30mins even when the airport card was off. I did update to 10.3.8 a couple of days ago, does this have anything to do when I updated to 10.3.8?
Help.
