Move to Trash shortcut on PowerBook?
What is the keyboard shortcut for moving items to the trash on a PoweBook? I DO see it listed in the File menu, but I don't recognize the key icon that looks like a left arrow with a X in it.
Thanks.

Actually, you just need to press two keys: Apple+Delete.

Okay! So now I look like a fool. But, I swear, I tried, several times, the Command-Delete key combinations. Files were not being moved to the trash, which is what prompted the post.
Upon reading these replies, I conducted a mini-experiment. I fired up PageMaker, which fired up OS 9.2.2. After quitting PageMaker I went back to moving files to the trash. The key combination worked.
So, the next question is: What was keeping the shortcut Command-Delete from working? And, before anyone asks, the files were not locked. Also, I am the only one with an account in this computer; thus, I was in as main admin.
