Warm Hello to all members,

I would like to extend my deep and sincere appreciation to our beloved kabayan Marlon Arenas who help me a lots in Hongkong. This is my short story..... in the Middle East Imac g5 are all reserved no display no stock only pictures.... the cost of 20" g5 iMac base nearly US$ 2900. I contact Apple HK (partner DG cost US$ 1910) they said in my email we've reserve one 20" g5 for you can take it the same day..... so I am happy..... Nov. 12 my arrival all the way from Saudi Arabia .....I call DG to pickup my iMac.... DG told me we apologise Mr Greg no stock maybe tommorow but not sure only 17" available for you..... I am not felling good on that moment (gusto kong manapak kung may sumagi lang sa kin sa daan upakan ko na yon) so I suddenly call Marlon for help.... after few minutes Marlon call back in the hotel.... one 20" G5 reserve for you go now before its to late sabi nga sa isang kanta "at the end of the storm there's a golden sky" on that precise moment gusto ko naman mangyakap at manghalik anybody sa tuwa....finally I've got her (20" g5 iMac w/ BT HK$ 15400) my habibi.... I've meet Marlon that evening and have good coversation..... Nov.14 I'm back here now in Saudi with my habibi..... thanks to our dear God and to you Marlon.

McArenas, I'll be in HK by end of the month also. would you be kind to tell me where greg bought his? I think HK$15,400 for the 20" with BT is a good price. Might buy 1 for myself. :-)

Hi Alvin... stock for the 20" G5 iMac sells like hot cake. lagi simot ang mga apple stores. Better reserve the unit in advance through local contact.

McArenas, im wondering how much is the new ibook 12" with 1.2 Ghz and wifi sa kanila ? salamat in advance ! ill try to call if you dont know at the top of your head. I have an officemate who is there attending the 3G congress and exhibit. Baka i can tempt him to buy for himself.

I'm just waiting for stock of a 15" Powerbook SD to arrive here so I can get one. But my best friend will be in HK in two weeks. How much is it there, baka maka mura.

But will he be able to bring it home in a box and is that advisable?

hmph. i wish i could say the same thing. the problem is, i never met any of the HK philMUGgers even though i was there for practically half a month!

(although im sure cool si marlon kasi mahilig siya sa ben & jerry's)
