    Default Marinduque, anyone?

    Hi all!

I might be sent to a conference in Marinduque in the next couple of days. The itinerary says participants will be housed in resorts. I was just wondering if there are any of you who have been to Marinduque, and if you know if they have internet access from the resorts?

I'm thinking whether or not I should bring my iBook. I can hook up via dial up or BT (wifi or via my cellphone) connections. I'm just not sure if there are any prepaid dial up internet cards available in Marinduque. I'm not really expecting to find hotspots there...

Of course the resort may also have its own internet hub, but I just wanna make sure I can get access while I'm away. I'm still waiting for feedback from the organizers, but I thought I'd post in here while waiting.

Any info will be very much appreciated.

    Thanks!

where in mariduque are you bound for?

Towns such as Boac, Gasan and Santa Cruz have Globe and Smart signal (weak). Best to ask what facilities your resort offers. Most resorts are small, mom and pop affairs. These normally do not have Internet access.

Marinduque is simple, quiet and laid back. The people are warm and friendly.
