HK gets its stocks slightly earlier than the Philippines. Obviously, it has to do with the proximity of HK to China.

hmmm.... i wonder where Pinas resellers get their stocks? Singapore? HK? Does it really take a week or two to get delivered to the resellers here from either places?

rexjc, please read 6 posts up, I mentioned where the stocks are coming from.

I've gotten word that the MacBook Pro is currently shipping in limited quantity (supply constraint). By my calculations, the entire Philippines will be getting only less than 100 units in total for the first wave.

If you are dead serious about being one of the first to have a MBP, I suggest you make a deal immediately with your suking tindahan. Unahan yan for sure.

It's pretty obvious that not a lot of units are shipping. Notice that the initial reviews on the net are few and far between. Notice too that those reviews usually mention how lucky the writer is to get his hands on one (usually the last unit in from his reseller).

Am in Australia and ordered the MacBook Pro from GetMac in Melbourne. I got a call yesterday that since Apple decided to upgrade the processors, the first wave is coming in early March.

So excited for my purchase!! Will post when I do get it.
