Soundsticks are speakers. What do these have to do with connecting to the internet?

hehehe sorry that's confusing i guess,
what i meant was, do i really need to separate the express connections of the soundsticks to the one for the internet cable modem and printer?

I don't know if I understand your question, but you will need separate connections for each device. That's why they have their own ports on the APE.

Is your PC wi-fi capable? Is your scanner Mac-compatible and did you plan on connecting it to your Mac or to your PC?
If your PC is wi-fi capable, you can get an Airport Express and plug the printer into the USB port of the AE so both the PC and Mac can use it. The Soundsticks plug into a USB port of your Mac. The scanner can either plug into your Mac (if it's Mac-compatible) or your PC. You can plug a stereo system into the line-out jack of the AE so you can stream music from your iTunes.
