ibook burner won't burn! need help!

i need help philmuggers....

my other mac unit an ibook G3 800Mhz won't burn a cd. i tried using it with itunes and it occurred an error with this message: the device drained its buffer without burn underrun protection. i also tried using it by dragging files into the blank cd from te finder/desktop and error message said: error code 6.

need help asap. i'm selling my ibook unit and need to clean up some of my files.

hmm. not sure. try making sure that no other program is working in the background. buffer overrun usually means the system can't dedicate enough exclusive memory to make sure a certain task gets performed (in this case, to burn a cd).

Try from a fresh startup?

Have you tried using another CD. Sometimes the iBook/PB namimili ng CD-R or CD-RW.
