Default How do you clean your mac screens?

    Hi

Can anyone of you suggest how to clean your mac screens, without buying expensive cleaners? Is the iskin keyboard protector really worth it? i've read some posts that suggest using a paint brush to get the dirt out of they keyboards. is that safe?

I use the 3M Scotchbright Microfiber cloth (a.k.a. CD, VCD, DVD Cleaning Cloth) for all our laptop screens. I think many photographers have also shifted to this from lens tissue. Its nice because it doesnt leave any trails or lint on the monitor like a flannel or cotton fabric would.

Second that. It's the next best solution to all those fancy cleaners. Been using them for a long time now, and have bought at least a half dozen of them through the past few years.

You could also find a Ph100.00 eyeglass cleaning cloth at your suking optical shops. Get the one that's imported, usually color white and has the microfiber characteristics.

Like the Essilor MX100? Does that work with LCD screens? Has anyone tried it? Any info will be appreciated. Thanks. :-)

eep, baby wipes? hm...doesn't sound too good. besides, diba there are baby wipes with lotions or whatever...won't that leave oily marks? :wound:

i use the 3M cloth too...you hardly need any cleaning agent, as long as you regularly wipe down your screen. occasionally i'd dampen a corner with good ol' H2O for those stubborn spots. (dampen lang! not soak)
