HELP! My Albook\'s sound input/output has gone berserk
hey muggers, just need some more opinions before going to the service center tomorrow.
a couple of nights back, i was finishing a project on FCP and i have a pair of sony portable speakers plugged in. suddenly, there was a loud, squealing sound, like speaker feedback. so i unplugged the speakers and to my utter dismay, discovered that the sound input and output were gone!
i rebooted and the reboot chime came on, but still no output and input. i rebooted and zapped the pram, and then the sound came back. but after about 15 seconds of playing something, the internal speakers went wild---as in major feedback and shit. now, it's on and off, but i absolutely cannot control the sound!
i'm in a major state of panic---could it be the logic board?!?!?!?!
the usual expert opinions will be much appreciated. please help.....

johnamon, i seriously hope the feedback didn't blow your speakers or the audio wiring....it usually does....best bet is to have it checked with your dealer

Hi John!
If you'll be asking Senco Link, since it's near Campaigns, to check it for you, ask for Erwin Reyes.
He's helped me many times in the past w/ my Mac hardware problems.
Good luck!
