external LCD for PB 12\" 867mhz
I'm considering a Mac Mini with a 17" 3rd party LCD display. However, I'd like to be able to use the LCD with my Albook 12" 867mhz as well. I've been trying out LCDs with my Albook but:
newer LCDs by Samsung (710v and 510N), AOC (LM729) won't even turn on, even after choosing different resolutions and refresh rates in Preferences display settings
previous models by Samsung (153V) and LG (Flatron L1730S) can mirror and extend display, but have a pronounced green tint that onboard LCD controls or the Preferences display settings/color profiling can't correct; same thing happens with my old CRT 17" Viewsonic; also can't choose higher than 1024x768 res in either mirror or extend modes, so the bigger external displays are not as sharp as the Albook's
Is the 867mhz Albook incompatible with newer LCDs? How to correct the green tint? (or maybe my VGA adapter is defective?)

Sounds like something is wrong with your adapter. I've connected my 12" 867 to LCD's.. CRT's and projectors without any problem. Ranging from HP LCD's to el cheapo DTS CRT's

Thanks tdbur. Just came from Mac center in Megamall where i tried another VGA adapter, same problem, Samsung 510N LCD won't work. Might be the video port itself?
